About a year ago I had my windshield replaced, and afterwards would get the dreaded water in the passenger footwell when it rained. (The shop that did the replacement has since gone out of business, so going back to them is not an option). I went through all the normal fixes (cowl deflector, drain ports, etc.) to no avail. Today I replaced the blower motor as the old one rusted out due to the leak. Now I notice that the rubber molding at the top corner of the windshield is pulling away. I was unable to just push it back into place. Is there a special tool or procedure for reinstalling the rubber molding? I'm tempted to pull it all out and force some silicon into the channel to stop the leak, but not sure if I would be able to replace the molding after doing that. Any suggestions? Thanks.
