I'm installing a new AC Delco fuel pump tomorrow and was wondering if there is any special tools or tips you guys could offer. I already checked the fuse and tried the relay bypass. They did not work. I am hoping this will go as smooth as possible since I will be starting school in a few days and need the car to get there. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

For those who wanted to know, its a 97 GTP. I looked at his profile.

Pull the carpet back, remove the 8 or so cover bolts to get at the fuel pump.

Unplug the connectors and remove the quick connect fuel lines and its either a snap ring or a lock ring that will hold the pump in place. Remove it, pull the pump up, let it drain for a minute or two, take it out and drop the new one in its place. Plug everything back in and turn the key and hope thats your problem fixed.
