    I just bought my wife a 2000 Grand Prix GT, it has 139k on it and we got it from the original owner who as far as i can tell took very good care of the car. I have to replace the fuel pump/Sending unit due to the gas gauge fluctuating. Other than that, it has dual climate control and the drivers side works fine but the pass side just blows cold air no matter how high i turn up the knob. Also, it seems like the car takes a long time to heat up. Where should my temp guage be after the car is warmed up ? does anyone know where to start as far as the pass. side not getting heat ? thanks for any help !!!

    maybe charging your heat up?
    my friend's dad works at fire and ice, and he had this bottle, and connected it to the car and turned it on and then the heat started blowing really fast.
    sorry, i really dont know a lot about cars so far.

    There is a flap down by the heater core inside the dash. when you turn the heat on, this flap moves open to unblock the heater core. this is where your heat comes from. the air going through the heater core and out throught the vents.

    my only guess is a flap is not opening....

    RMayer, The bottle that you are referring to was freon. Freon is for the A/C. And that has nothing to do with heat. It's all good tho, now you know a little more.

    A loss of heat in a vehicle could be caused by the following things:

    1. Low coolant

    2. Plugged heater core

    3. Bad thermostat

    As for having warm air on one side, this is probably caused my a malfunctioning Climate Control.
    3.4", 3" cated DP, SLP Air box, TB spacer, 180* Thermo, "Bilemke Tuning".
