I'd say winter because you can make more boost with the dense air.
But same could be said with summer and the motor is super hot and the blower is throwing in super hot air and you'd have a better chance at seeing some there too.
There are just so many variables.
You could have bad gas, dirty air, not even fuel flow, not enough exhaust flow, sensors reading incorrect, a shotty tune and botched numbers for fuel/air/timing/temp etc etc.
Ok... I was just wondering because I took the car out for a spin today with the AeroForce hooked up so I could see how much boost I was making... I saw 9#s today and only like 7.5#s in the summer. BUT in the summer time I saw 2* of KR at the shift from second to third, and today I didn't get ANY KR till over 100.. And for the record I only went over 100 because I was worried my knock sensor had died and I was TRYING to make it knock.
that was kinda hard to do while I was driving.. AND I didnt honestly think of it...LOL...
I get more in the summer time.
Summer... I can run a size smaller pully in the winter because of nice below freezing air.
I would think it would depend on pulley size. I bet you'd get a bigger boost increase and KR increase on a smaller pulley car than a bigger pulley car in the winter time. Im pretty much just pulling that out of my arse though.
