Problem is that's what it was. Local shop owned by just two guys. And I live in a very small town with not many places to go. They charged me $100 to put on my flowmasters and tips. And I need new piping because that shop screwed mine up when putting on my larger flowmasters. So at least the back section needs new pipe.
Re: Good, moderately quiet or deep exhausts for the 3800?
Question : They only messed up a couple inches of the pipe. Do you guys think a local shop could work around it? Then I could just get borlas thrown on ASAP and do a new resonator later?

You could do basically anything when bending pipes but I recommend doing it right the first time, I learned the hard way

Might just go to the last remaining local shop and see what they would charge to re-do it. Either way it's going to be cheaper than the $1,100 system. Borla mufflers definitely and probably borla tips. Not to expensive. Then a resonator, glasspack or magnaflow? Then ask them how much they would charge to put it together.

If you were to get the system, you could just cut the cat off and clamp everything else on and save on the labor but system=$$$$$

True. Kind of a toss up. $1,000 for a great system. Or probably $700 for a decent custom system. Then again the $1,000 or so system can be changed out later since it's not welded on. Hmmmmmm.
Re: Good, moderately quiet or deep exhausts for the 3800?
You had the cat back. Your opinion, is the money worth it for the full system?
Re: Good, moderately quiet or deep exhausts for the 3800?
I think so... Cause it was just so perfect.. Like the flow was very nice, the sound was perfect, my buddy told me, when I got on it, it was super loud from outside but when your cruisin it's just amazing, perfect sound

Thanks for the help. I've got a few months to think about it but definitely sounds like a good system. Thank you for the help all, feel free to discuss more about different systems.

Definitely interested to hear back. I like my flowmaster 40s and they sound fine, but they aren't the sound I'm looking for in a daily driver. Little too loud and high to drive 200+ miles a week with. Gonna get a downpipe with u-bend delete then the exhaust. Let me know what your setup is.

Yeah I'd like to hear a video with the set up also. Exhaust is probably going to be the last thing I do(need a new fuel pump and downpipe first) and am pretty set on borla, but hey if your exhaust blows me away I might reconsider.
