I would sell it. I thought when the military stores it they occasionally drive the car to get the fluids moving through it and then store again and do that a few months or so?

This forum has been just as fun as the cars we drive!!! So if I have to sell my GTP, what is the best way? It really needs a mechanic to own it to finish as well as maintain what I started... I have seen people on here post that I should not even mention the new motor/trans. It blue books for 4,500 dollars and I have about 6,500 in it. It has new paint, tires, motor/trans, headers, K&N cone filter, front suspension (shocks, arms...everything) LED tail lights...uh and all the best pieces I could find to upgrade the others stuff that needed upgrading...lol

Yes I think they do that. But I called the company and they don't seem very responsive. But I was calling them about my partly restored truck. I would not rely on them but the car would probably be ok when I get back. The only issue with storage is that there is are two big cancer rust spots on the bottom and one on the wheel well. There are light rust spots on a few other spots. I don't have the time to fix that rust now so it would have 4 years to grow while I was gone...

Yea putting that the motor has been rebuilt etc can steer buyers clear, they start to think why was it rebuilt wtf. Other guys would sway sweet rebuilt motor and have at it. I would post it on Craigslist first to see if you get any bites. One issue you'll have is if the car isn't done mechanically you may have a problem getting what you want for it. I would also give a suggestion to potential demodding it and count your losses if you end up not being able to sell it whole.
