OK,
I'm losing my mind. I may end up just having to go some place to have them do some trouble shooting, but I haven't consigned myself to that yet. having 2 issues at the moment. B2552 code which is a low voltage backup lamp feed. I'm assuming this is the culprit for my reverse light issue. Reverse lights are always on when the headlights are on, but do not come on at all when headlights are off(even when gear selector is in the reverse position).
I'm getting one other code. B3267 which has something to do with the trunk release. I think this is related to my car not coming out of park. There is some issue here. Possibly a bad BTSI solenoid, however I swapped out the shifter mechanism and now can't even manually move out of park, so IDK.
I think my BCM is bad.
Has anyone ever replaced one of these? I've been told that they have to be flashed by the dealer to function. If any of you have swapped out the BCM, please chime in.
