Hey everyone! I am at the point now where I would like to start doing some engine mods. I'm only 16 so keep in mind that he budget is pretty tight. However, I do have about $125 or $150 coming in per week but some I need to save. I do have a birthday and Christmas coming up though as well. I would like go know what you all would recommend for cheap but cost effective mods. Looking for a little better sound as well as some more pony up if possible. Also, nothing ridiculously hard to install. I know there's some tight restrictions but I hope you can help me out, thanks!

headers, pulley drop, and a tune. thats about $400 or so. if you do your own wrenching.

if you do any of this you should get a aeroforce gauge first to monitor the engine. another 200 new.

shift kits is also nice to have, add another 100.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Avon. Just west of Indianapolis. If I were to get some gauges I would also have to get a pillar pod, correct?

Headers, new plugs, wires, fuel filter, open cone. Then tranny pan drop n fluid change with shift kit. No need for gauges then and will make car feel much better response wise.

Then save some more and gauge if dropping pulley to monitor KR and also tune! Want crazy throttle response(?), port TB or get a North*, but has to be tuned in. Those are simplest and most cost effective things I would do.
Overkill BBC Cam, YT 1.8 RR's, Rhodes Lifters, STGII Heads, GenV, Pacesetters, 3" Exh to Tips, TEP Trans. N*, ID 75# injectors/E85 coming soon

Thanks man! Those all seem very do-able! Also, would it be a hard project to lower my car? About 1.5 inches probably. Is lowering really as bad on the car as everything I have read says?

I'm gonna do a pulley swap to a 3.4" but gonna go in this order: Aeroforce Interceptor gauge, throttle body spacer, colder thermostat, colder spark plugs, cold air intake (build my own). Is there any thing that I need to do exhaust wise? Ubend delete? Anything else?

Skip the throttle body spacer it's useless unless your using it to spray something like meth or nitrous.

I would add headers and that will take care of the ubend delete plus give the engine a bit more flow

In order to do a pulley drop, does the whole supercharger need removed, just the snout, or can it be left in the car?

I'm thinking the 3" stainless with cat....yes? Instead of headers, they're just too advanced for me right now. Eventually gonna go to a 3.5 pulley.
