So I ended up driving through a huge puddle last night during a storm and sucked a good bit of water into the motor.
I already pulled all the plugs and spun the motor over a few times and blew it all out. Got it sitting in the sun right now to help dry it out. I'm gonna go buy new plugs and wires later. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what else I might need to do before putting it back together and firing it up.

I'd use the plugs and wires that were in it already in case you bent a rod or something, you don't want to waste even more money. Then if it's fine at least get new wires and a new air filter, and plugs if you need them. Do a general overview under the hood make sure nothing is wet that shouldn't be. Check oil fluid levels to make sure no water is in them. If it runs fine you're good.

oil and filter change if it stalled it from sucking the water up.
if it stalled and you kept trying to crank it and it locked while cranking it, theres good chance the bottom end could have blown bearing, only time will tell tho.
no need to let it sit in the sun, crank the engine, plugs out to clear it, then put the plugs back in and fire it up.

Thanks guys. Just put it back together runs perfect. Good bit of water in my oil though. Only thing that sucks is I can't get to the parts store till Monday to get oil change equipment because all my roommates just have bikes. Hopefully that crappy oil won't hurt anything while it's sitting there

do not run the engine with water in the oil. it will die fast

dump the oil and filter, then dump another whole quart in with the drain plug out still, this will hope fully flush out any water in the pan still. then fill your filter with oil, put the plug back in, and dump the rest of the oil in. run it for a bit, then check the oil, if the oil is foamy or milk shake colored change it again.
depending on the year of your car, and where the drain plug is, if its on the side, some water maybe left in. drain plug on the bottom of the pan less likely to hold water.

I know not to run it I'm just curious if letting it sit for a few days will hurt it that bad cause the parts place won't deliver where I'm at.

id drain it and let it sit till you get new oil.
you cant ride b1tch on one of your fiends bikes and hold a bag with 6 quarts of oil and a filter? lol i hate riding on the back of a bike...id rather be driving it myself.

It's a 97 gtp. I'm pretty sure the plug is toward the back of the pan. I'd like to just drain it out and let it sit till Monday, but I just moved like 2 days ago so I don't have a drain pan or anything yet. And no I'd rather not ride birch through the city holding on to all that stuff haha.

your drain bolt is on the front corner of the pan, ( bumper side) if you pull both dog bones and pull the engine forward, it may drain a bit more out, and any water as well.

Because you don't want to ride b***h on the back of a bike which I don't blame you but some simple persuasion hey (insert name) do you mind running into to town and get me some oil ill give you the money and buy you lunch. Now I don't know your roommates personally so can't say they would or wouldn't mind doing it. Trying to give you some ideas so you can get your car hopefully running right. Either way its not my car so I won't lose sleep over it.

It will evaporate.
Happens all the time in the winter.
Probably not in that concentration though.
If there's too much water in there, you will suck up water and run into issues.
If that doesn't happen, then you'll be fine just idling it being warm to evaporate the water.
All in all, if it were me, pay the $30 it costs to have the oil changed.
