Hi, been reading many posts on this forum with excellent results however have never had much need to post until now.
I am installing a front drivers door from a 1998 GT in my 2001 GT and everything is going smooth until I see that electrical connector at the body (just inside the flex tube) is different than the old one. So I tried to splice in the 01 connector to the 98 door and had limited success as some of the wires are different as well. Same number however different color codes.
The one time in the last five years I needed my wiring diagrams in my Haynes manual and now I can't find it. So have spent the last 8 days looking for the 98 diagrams for the power windows, locks, mirrors and radio and have come up short. I did find some for a two door but that was only half of what I needed.
Can anyone help sort through this bundle of wires, its getting pretty hot outside now and can't open my windows....ugh
