I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT. The cooling fan comes on in the winter and then check engine light comes on. I took it in and the error code said it is running too cold. Now that it is getting hot, the cooling fan is not coming on at all. Temperature getting too hot. Any suggestions?

Why would the cooling fans come on it it's running too cold? Since they're not coming on when too hot now (opposite) it may be a control issue? How hot is too hot? Low fan speed is 212°F and high is something like 222°. You can check to see if the cooling fans work by jumping the cooling fan relays. If so I'm thinking PCM. If not, that may be your current problem.
