    i think i found out why my fob doesn't work. the little chip inside broke off. im going to try to solder it back together but i dont know which way it goes. so if someone could post a pic of the insides of their fob i would much appreciate it. the number of the fob is 10246216 thank you in advance.

    c'mon guys i know its a dumb idea but i just wanna try it. someone has to have a 3 button fob and a digital camera.

    i plan on buying another one, but i just wanted to see if i could fix it. its for my own personal knowledge to see if i accomplish a solder job that small and succeed at it.

    Solder that bastard back on, BUT! Get solder with led in it. Also get FLUX that is for led based solder. You will have that sucker on in no time. Make sure you use flux. If you do not, then do not bother soldering.

    One thing though. Do not inhale that stuff (it wont hurt you, but it does contain led which causes sickness)

    i still dont know which way it goes in. thats the only thing stopping me from doing it.
