really? could do everything underneath. there's nothing there in the way. put it on ramps. one of the easiest things I've done to one of these.

Bill, you got over 200k on a single compressor? Jeeze, mine is making a ridiculous "hooting" sound and my car doesn't even have 100k on it yet :P
I can decide on the orifice either, I just have a leak and that strange noise, so if it isn't leaking back near the orifice, I may just do the evap and compressor.
Morad parts kicks ass for these jobs, I just can't spend as much as places want for a brand new one.
Rockauto had a Delphi with my name on it for $165 plus shipping. Didn't say reman either. I'm unsure if it is or not.. for $165 it's likely reman.
Pretty sure my fuel filter has 220K on it as well. Same as the fuel pump (which I run pretty dry all the time)
I was looking at that also Bill, did you see the compressor kit they had for $198 or so ?
No... I missed that.
I got the same delphi compressor from rockauto. The replacment was a breeze. sitting underneath the car i was able to get the 2 bolts in back along with the nut holding on the lines, and the 3 in front where beyond easy with the passenger tire removed. She came out with ease right through the wheel well. Accumulator was even easier. I didnt do the orifice tube though. Even with the master cylinder and ABS out of the way, it still looks like the power booster will have to come out. F that.
You can sneak in there... it's always a pain. Pretty sure even though the FSM didn't say it..there's a special Jtool for undoing those things
