    I used both a genV gasket AND rtv. This might be overkill but then again I haven had a leak there since install... Im sure either would work just fine.

    I did that with my first genv gasket. I needed a template for cutting my gen3 lower intake and after I was done I just used it because it was there. But spending 30$ on something that may or may not seal just doesn't work for me anymore so I just go silicone... sure it has to dry for a few hours but oh well.
