    I keep getting a check tire pressure message on the DIC and It didnt start until after I cleaned my tb???.....think somehow that big plug got messed up?...

    don't know what tb means but.... check tire pressure came on on my car few days ago after I hit a hole on the road. after 2 days it went off by itself, I guess its like a sensor that its messed up or something. Hope someone can give us better ideas

    Well is your tire low? Reset it in your dic and see if it comes back.

    my tires were not low and just a few minutes ago while on the road, the light came back on...... and they are not low this time either

    mine arent low either....I checked them, and they were but I filled them...how do you reset it without resettng the battery? TB= throttle body...

    boy do I feel stupid...I hit the i button until reset tire pressure monitor came up and hit the arrow...reset and boom done...lol....Live and learn. Honestly I love this car.

    The "Check Tire Pressure" warning should come on (if I remember correctly) after 1 or more tires have deflated to 12lbs or more below the highest pressure it was last reset at.

    yeah they were at 35 then I checked and they were down to 20 and 22..the back ones

    Mine are not low at all, they all have 35 psi and light still come on

    no sensors on an 04. i believe it runs off the wheels speed sensors and counts revolutions. mine has gone off with only a 2lb difference

    As far as i know the sensors for tire monitoring are on the valve stem inside the tires.

    I'm not really too worried about that check tire press light, it doesn't affect performance of my car in anyway, it just bothers me to see that light on lol
