So there's been this noise under my hood and it's annoying me.. I'm not sure what it is, I thought it was the coupler, so I replaced it, didnt do anything.. Then thought it was the alternator, so I replaced it, still didnt do anything..

here is a video of the noise..

Could be the A/C compressor. Maybe try removing the belts and start it up breifly. If the noise is gone then you know its one of the pulleys.

Is it okay to start the car with both belts off? It won't hurt the car?

You can first remove the S/C belt. See if the noise goes away, if not remove the other one. Like previously stated do it for a very short time. If your problem still exists you have bigger issues.

If the car is cold, you can run the car for many minutes without the water pump running as it will take a little bit for it to heat up.
