Thread: DIC & Check Engine

PLEASE HELP-2004 GTP Comp G
1. Day and Date do not match. I am well aware of the cause of this problem but am sick of having to make an appointment, take it to the dealer, wait 3 hours, and argue about being charged just so they can flash the computer. There must be a better way

2. Car runs fine, drives fine, and is in great shape however the check engine light came on a few days ago and the only change was a new set of skins (factory size). Some guys I work with think that just the difference in tread depth (and overall diameter) has confused the computer and tripped a code, is this possible and will it reset itself?

in regards to point #1 I'm having the same problem! My date is always off by like a day or two almost every time i start the car! PLEASE HELP What can i do???


In reference to your second point, My ABS light, Traction Control OFF light, and Check Variable steering light and Check Engine light Keep coming on(all at the same time) ...It doesn't happen every single time i start the car, but maybe once every 3 starts!??? Does anyone have any help or advice?? Please i'm in dire need of advice...
