Hello all. Hopefully someone has had this happen before and can help me. I recently washed down the engine due to a hose blown. Now the parking lights stay on and drain the battery down. There is power to the fog lights as well but I can turn them off with the switch. The inside bell goes of when you remove the keys like the lights are left on but the switch is off, headlights off but park lights remain on. I removed the fuse under the hood to disable the lights and keep the car drivable. The headlights work fine. The bell still dings every time you open the door. I tried removing relays etc..but so far I'm stumped. Anyone??

By the dinging, the switch and BCM are seeing power. Are these your original lights or have they been swapped?

They were swapped out a couple years ago but they are aftermarket original replacements.

That rules out oddities with the harnesses.

Know anyone local you could swap a headlight switch with?

I unplugged the headlight switch from behind and nothing changed. Didnt want to buy a new switch if that wasnt what was wrong.
