At first it began with the service ABS/TRACTION/STABILITY and BRAKES on the DIC with the dummy lights for the ABS TRACTION and E-BRAKE lights on the IPC

Tonight, I had very brief display of service charging system light right before the IPC, HUD,DIC and radio stopped working...all gauges read no values or had no displays/power

I turned the vehicle off thinking I might reset the issue....the car did not start just heard a relay click, no engine crank and after 7-8 key turns..it fired up and I was on my way...however this did not fix the original issues described in the previous paragraph....now the car only randomly starts and when it does it sounds normal...nothing to suspect charging/battery/fuel...exterior lights, windows, door locks, interior lighting, 12 volt sources all powered...however scanner does not communicate with any of my modules....PCM,BCM etc....

The key when turned, you will hear clicking from the right side ( passenger side ) as well as the fuel pump priming ...however the chime will not chime ...I'm leaning towards the ignition cylinder....but since this problem happened tonight I have not really jumped into until tomorrow hopefully when I have daylight ....

Just wondering if anyone has ever had any similar or exact problems as described..

I have so far checked....battery, battery terminal connections, underhood fuses and relays (swapping and replacing ) as well as the interior which all turned up with no different results...

If interested I will post video of this situation to give a better idea

Any help would be beneficial and greatly appreciated , thanks

edit: heated seats are also inop as well as AC..HVAC system/Blower motor DOES BLOW AIR, air conditioning with the button pressed no longer blows cold

and of course....Data Link Connector is powered, however scanner will no longer communicate to any module in the car

so when i remove IGNITION 1 RELAY UNDER THE HOOD, the car operates as normal everything works, i can also access all modules in the car, but it will not start....when i plug the relay back in the IPC, HUD,DIC and radio all power down and i am locked out from communications with a scanner...yet the car will start after 2-3 key turns

Swap the relay with a different one and see what happens.

Maybe that relay is the whole issue.

I've swapped multiple relays to the IGN1 slot with the same outcome....I have since swapped out the underhood fuse block, ignition switch, and the off chance the EBCM...all having the same issue

now, i decided to give my ECT2000 a shot at this...and sure enough it began to beep at me a little below the fuse box, so i disconnected all connections to the junction block (not fuses and relays, but the 7mm bolt hold downs ) beeping stopped. plugged in the harness that controls IGN1 relay and the beeping returned...i have a short to ground in that harness...traced the "beep" to under the dash...unfortunately for me the harness disappears...i guess i need a wiring harness diagram or remove the dashboard itself...and that is a giant FML
