2000 gp se with the base HVAC control module. I have the higher quality HIDs. My blower motor and headlights used to work perfectly. Ive replaced the blower motor resistor and the blower fuse is ok ( all fuses are ok). So whenever i move the blower switch from off, the headlights and blower will turn off. Sometimes If i move the switch to 5 and wait about 5 seconds my blower and headlights will turn on. The intermediate blower settings do not work at all ( thats why i thought it was the blower resistor). Any thoughts guys? I really appreciate any opinions.

they are not cheap really, so a junk yard or used maybe a good idea.

You were right, it was the harness. I decided to clean the terminals instead of buying a new one and it worked. It was easy getting to the switch pack thanks to the awesome people that take the time to post how-to threads. All the contacts on the metal levers inside the switch were either covered in a black build up or had melted pit spots. I took a razor blade, scraped off the build up and scuffed up the contact points so they looked like the new ones, and it works great! The hardest part is getting the spring inside the switch pack to line up right because it has to be tensioned when you put the cover on, but not too bad of a project. 0$, tools: PH2 screw driver, small flat screw driver, razor knife, needle nose pliers ( for the screws on the switch pack), torx bit for lower shroud, and a 5/32 socket. Hopefully this can help someone save some cash.
