I know this may sound dumb but today I did a headlight restoration and unhooked my headlight from the driver side. (They are HIDS) I fineshed what I was doing and went to turn the headlights back on and nothing. I hooked the factory bulbs back up and still nothing. I googled it and brought me to a HDM Relay bought and replaced that and still nothing. I'm at a lost to what happened? Please help, Thanks.

    PS The highbeams work .

I checked the fuses they are all fine. Even ran a multimeter on them and they got a 0 ohm reading

I think we need more details. Did you use a volt meter to make sure you are getting power to where you need it? I'm assuming you were originally not using a HID relay wiring harness and now you installed one? Did you install it correctly? Is the fuse in the relay harness blown?

MOAR details.....and we should be able to get it sorted for ya

Would be nice to know what you are driving. Just tossing that out there lol

Here's a little thing to check. In your fuse area 97-03 the upper right silver thing is a circuit breaker for the headlights. If you turn the lows on and feel that do you feel it clicking on /off, does it begin to get warm? If so..you pinched a wire at the headlights. There's a nice GP feature that put a piece of the structure right behind the headlights. Easy enough to pinch one.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I drive a 06 Grand Prix. When I originally installed the HIDs I used a relay harness. I checked the HDM relay and the 2 spot on the relay is getting power. I am not getting power thru the fuses when using a multimeter. I tried everything I can think of. The weird part is the highs work. I did the headlight restoration and I went to turn the lights on and nothing. I know have stock bulbs put back in and have basically given up.

Also I had the HIDs for about two months with no problems then out of the blue the HIDs and regular bulbs don't work, which I just bought when this all started happening. The day I did the restoration it was crazy windy but I don't think that would have much to do with anything.
