Hey guys, new to the forum. i had a 2000 ranger but sold that and this grand prix popped up from a guy at work and 20 mpg is better than 13 by a long shot! Anyway, i wont spend to much on time on the problem with the car but i will say the engien shakes! All the time not as bad as sometimes. Since i bought it i changed: plugs, wires, coils, fuel filter, trans fluid and filter. cel is on but i cant read it because its obd 1.5 and i dont have the scanner. anyways i am testing the injectors to see if one is bad electricaly, so i need a wiring diagram for them. I am not going to take the intake off yet to access the connectors so i found a bundle of wires that leads under the intake and goes into each injector. This bundle of wires has a connector right by the alternator that i can test them at i just need a diagram to see which color wire leads to which injector.

    thanks in advance guys!

buy a haynes manual for your car. read the start of chapter 6, it will tell you how to pull codes by jumping wires a to b, on your 12 pin obd connector. You do that with key on and the check engine light will flash and you count them then look in your book as what they mean,

flash-flash-flash pause flash-flash would mean code 32 ect, probly a long pause between codes if there is more then one, i think

there are only 3 pins in the connector but they arent arranged in a obd 1 pattern. and vacuum test was a steady 15hg of vacuum.

It might have an OBDII plug with OBDI program and pins, 95 was the transition year from OBDI to II. My Firebird is like that. Still an OBDI car, but the plug under the dash looks like the OBDII. Autozone can't read it.. :-/ but mine was the Air pump I deleted so no biggie. LOL

You have an obd1 computer with an odb2 connector like my 95 camaro. Your cel could be an evap code. Check also for a plugged cat. Do you smell gas fumes on the side you fill it up? If so you have a bad purge valve or canister. Checked your O2 sensors on the manifolds. Sometimes the wires get bad. Your other O2 sensor is near your cat. That can read wrong if your cat is plugged or the resonator is bad.

For an OBDI car do you have the downstream O2? My 95 only the upstream ones, nothing post cat...
