    Don't do it. Run the gap at .055ish
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.
    04 Comp G zzp stb's, UMI ta's, Speedbuilt sways, bully flo heads, XP, zzp headers, fsic, thrasher shift kit, 60#, 2.6" corsa 2.5", Inferno hood

    Yes, at some point there is a need to reduce the gap because it can be blown out.

    You'd be at a pretty high power level to be needing to run anything under a .050 to .055 gap.

    Roughly around the point where the supercharger turns into a turbocharger.

    Or you're running a nasty blower setup/nitrous and need to close the gap some to prevent blowout.

    Light mods no need to mess with gap at all.

    What gap would you guys recommend for a build with XP Cam, Double Roller, Stage 2 ported heads, Gen v, 3.0 pulley, SD Headers, lQ4 MAF, FS I/C?
    Gen V, 3.0, Stage 2 heads, XP Cam, SD Headers, N*, LQ4, ZZP Stage 2 Gen 3 Intercooler, CAI, AL 104's Gapped to .055, #130 Springs, 42.5lb Injectors, ZZP Tune.

    i wouldnt recommend it to anyone to be like me, but when i was running smaller pulleys i just gapped it at 0.045" and stopped caring.

    close the gap if you start to misfire or lean it back out until it stops misfiring.

    I run down to a 025 gap on the cheapo plugs to keep my turbo setup happy, so you can do it if you want.. it doesnt really hurt.
