hey so this is my first post wanted to start off by saying hello to everyone here, i recently purchased a burgundy 2004 grand prix gt has a 3800 series 3. my problems are as follow, i have my info center telling me to service brake system service traction control system service stability control system the traction button is not responsive also the hvac controls dont function, i am not 100% that all the problems are tied together since i have no way of speaking with the p.o of the car anyone ever had these kind of problems? also the car runs and drives great no problems there. thanks in advance for any info....almost forgot no check engine light on so no codes to start with there.

The dash lights are probably due to a bad wheel hub/bearing. Try jacking up the car and take off one wheel at a time to see if any of the wheel hubs have play in them. They shouldn't be able to jiggle even a little, only rotate smoothly with no strange noises.

As for the HVAC controls, just see if they're unplugged in the back. You can pop off the trim piece that holds the DIC, then you'll see the screws that hold the panel in.

ok so the service traction/brake/stability can all tie in with the hubs/speed sensors? i figured the heat/ac/ rear defroster would be separate from the other issue, but i did not know the first three could be all from a speed sensor i will check that out i was reading somewhere there can also be problems with the harness itself, but that was just a person with a brake issue

that would be great if three of those lights would go off just from a hub/speed sensor issue, now i just have to figure out which one it is. then find out what the issue with the hvac is thanks for the suggestions
