Ok! I have already started a thread for the issue I was having wit my trans and had very quick help from scotty doggs and the TEP site...thanks to both for the quick resolve!...basically to kind of sum things up the forward band is M.I.A which as most know means a complete rebuild so while I'm at it I wanna beef it up while I can,I plan on possibly doing the 300m shaft but as far as anything that needs to go with it I am illiterate, reason being I am a complete and total newbie to the trans internal rebuild thing.I don't really plan on putting 10million horses under the hood...but...I do wanna drop pulley sizes maybe to a 3.4,3.2 but definitely no lower than a 2.9(but Thas only if I really feel froggy) wanna make sure the trans can hold up to whatever I decide to go wit.

whatever help you all can give will be greatly appreciated!.

I'm on E85 and a 3.2 with a stock tranny and its fine but idk how long it will hold. If your looking to upgrade you'll want better clutches, a 4340 or 300m input shaft and a bigger chain. If you have a 98-03 you'll want a hardened fourth gear shaft. Think that's the major stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Like mentioned, a year would be helpful.

Automatically have all the upgrades done ot the valve body
Chain upgrades are either V8 or the 7/8"
Input shaft 300m from ZZP or Intense only. Can't suggest the 4340 from what I've heard about it breaking.
    Remaned converter (suggest precision)
    Hardened 4th hub shaft
    New EPC soleniod (P1811)
New clutches and steels. Ensure clearancing so that you don't have delayed engagement from slop in the packs.
    All the seals
    Check all the bushings
    Change stator bearing
    Check all the hard parts
    Transgo shift kit
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Dan.. some 03's don't have it either. I've seen build dates of 11/02 (which is considered halfway into the 03 model year) be the old non-hardened shot to balls version
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
