Okay recently the blower for my hvac has stoped working. I thought it was the 5 speed switch so I took it apart and cleaned the contacts and it still doesnt work. Previously only the high setting worked. Then it started to work on and off and now nothing.

I cant find any fuses for the hvac system. Is the fuse panel under the hood the only one on the car or is there another one?

Any have any ideas about where I should start looking to fix this it is getting to where i need the heat and defrost.

Also Im poor so if anyone has cheap ideas they would be greatly appriciated.

If you blower works on 1 speed and its the highest speed, your problem is usually the blower motor resistor. It is located right next to the blower motor. Take it out and look at it, you will be able to tell if it is bad just by looking at it, if it looks like this: http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/i.../IMG_8118a.jpg, its probably your issue. Get one from a place like Auto Zone (part #DR783) they don't cost that much. Also it has been said that water is what damages these, so make sure your water deflector (located under the wiper cowl) has not fallen off.
