Hi my name is sanchez, about 2 years agio i owned a bright red 2000 pontiac grand prix gtp sedan, sadly, that car was stolden and destroyed, now i just got a 96 grand prix gtp, its also bright red but a 2 door, now i got it for $1500 its mint inside and out but it had a small problem of not starting, its getting its spark but the injectors are not fireing, you can clearly here the pump and i have pressure in the rails. Now i know with a 97 up grand prix theft system, the car will crank and crank for days but will not delever any fuel. With the 94-96 like mine, it will not even crank when the theft system is actavated, just the test this theroy i removed the fuse for the theft system and BAM the car would no longer crank over, put it back in and it now just cranks over agin. So if any of you folks have had this problem and know how to fix it it would be a great help, i have searched through fourms and everyone keeps replying back to all the posts, "its your theft syetem" "its your theft system" i allready tested that and its fine. Maby its the ECM? im not shure i know with my old 93 sunbird it would crank for days with no computer but would not start.

Mine did something similar when my crank position sensor went out. It had a fine hairline crack in the plastic. Is it throwing codes? I know 95-96 was transition years from OBD1 to OBD2 which is not fun either...
