So my girlfriend is having a problem with her 2002 grand prix. At first the fan settings 1-2 went out and only worked on 3, 4, and 5. About a year later 3 and 4 went out and it only worked on 5. We have just been settling on having it work on 5 until today it stopped working all together. Now none of the fan speed settings work, no a/c, no heat (which is a pretty big problem in the minnesota winter climate right now) so I'm looking for some advice where do i start? The resistor? the fuses? any info will be greatly appreiciated as I want to get this fixed asap (at least so her heat/defrost can work for the meantime) Thanks!

before doing anything, try giving the blower motor a tap with a hammer while it's set to #5. might be the blower gave up suddenly, but you definately need the resistor to fix #1-4.
