Okay, Well I just did that and my car jerked a bit when boosting but was able to get to full boost.
After plugging the hose and still keeping the wire unplugged, my car barley jerked but not getting full boost at WOT.
so im lead to belive that it could possibly be a bad blower.. because with normal driving things seem to work fine.
also after reading online, did wanna throw it out there but I have a 98 GTP TB on my 99 gtp..
not sure why, thats how I got the car baha not sure if that makes a difference.

what maf are you using? 97 and 98 are the same, 99 is not the same. so your pcm may not like it much.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

like the 98 maf dont fit into the 99 TB like air tight? could be causing a vac leak.

oh, no im saying.. I have a 98 TB on my car.. and I read online that 98 and 99 are different, so im assuming that i would either need a new TB or a tune.
