Everyone keeps saying 2.25 exhaust now is that I.D. or O.D. I just got some new mufflers in and there 2.25 O.D. so I need to know so I can get the right adapters.

stock pipe is 2.25 id. so if your mufflers are 2.25 od then they should slide inside of the stock pipe which then you will just need a 2.25 clamp

agreed. I had 2" inlet mufflers butt welded to the stock pipe instead of sliding a 2 1/4" inlet over top of it and clamping.

Wow thats small..... what is that 1 7/8 ID. So Ill need a 2" ID to go over that then a 2 1/8" OD to fit the muffler. Just want someone to tell me Im right so I dont go get it and be wrong. spending way to much time on these mufflers want it right now.

It should be 2" od for stock if you want a 100% accurate measure meant is called a caliper and a jack.

Well I got the calipers and its 2" OD. Got the mufflers on the car now. They sound pretty nice for some 30 dollar mufflers. Would suggest them for others.
