I have read a lot about speed daddy headers so I picked up a pair and a new longer cabled O2 sensor (for over $50) from advanced auto since that was the best I could find locally. But yesterday I went to the junkyard and for 6 dollars I got an O2 sensor but the upstream one needed was too hard to get to so I pulled the downstream sensor and wire harness. I’m sure the wire gauge is the same so I can do a solder and heat shrink connection but I would like to do as little as possible to make it work. What does everyone think? For $6, 20 min, plus a hammer, 7/8 wrench and a knife, this seems like a good deal to me.

ZZP sells an o2 wire harness extension for way less than 50 bucks.

I picked one of those up in case the junkyard setup does not work. Thanks for the help. I had read bluegtp had the info on the extender but I could not find the site.

I had to extend my wire harness for my post (non exsistant) cat on my SD Headers.

Couldn't get my post o2 off the original downpipe. So I used an o2 from an extra rear header I had. I just cut off the plug and soldered and shrinked matching the wires. Works great.
