Find a shop other than a dealer that can do the case learn for you.

The dealer case learn they do will erase your PMC tune (either canned or dyno) and resets the PCM setting back to the factory settings. Making your $100-$500 tune a waste of money. If you know someone at a dealership or some one who has a GM Tech II, then they might be able to bypass some of the settings and keep your tune as is.
    04 Impala SS -- SOLD
08 Prix GXP -- FWI, 3in DP, TR6IX plugs, Ported & polished throttle body, ported intake manifold, DiabLEW Tuned, wrapped crossover pipe, Cat delete, Factory res., Muffler delete, Poly motor mounts, shift kit, LED bulbs in just about every Da*n thing, ect..

Exactly what my dealership told me, they won't let my car leave their shop with a non-factory setting ECM - sure it's all about liability and procedure being they represent GM. I'm having trouble finding a local shop that can do it......onto the next one!

I'm currently throwing a P0315 - Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned. I would imagine a Case Re-learn would take care of this code. Only code that is coming up. Have a shop that will "take a look at it" tomorrow to see what they can do.

Apparently the Aero force scan gauges can do case learns. I'm looking into it more in depth but it was posted on another thread

Amen! Not 100% it could do a case relearn on a GXP but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Good choice. Since its pretty pricey gauge wouldn't want u to get it and then not be able to do everything. But everything else it monitors comes in handy.

Yeah they can. That's how my brother did his when swapping a new PCM and harmonic balancer for his top swap.
