Is there a way to wire an aux input into a factory radio with a bose system? I went to the junkyard today to get a dogbone and left with it because of how bad my other factory radio looked..and because id at least rather have a cd player than a tape player ha.

i just found this how to the other day. can hurt to open it up and see if the guts are the same. page 25 iirc is where they talk about jumping the radio signal in vs the cd. How you can add an aux input/mp3 player without an adapter - LS1TECH

3 bucks for the input, wire, shrink tubes and solder, it looks worth it to me. could be added to the under 50 dollar mod list lol

and you have a spare to play with now too.

Actually thats what im doing now ha, I dont want to screw up the cd player so im trying it on the tape player first...and as for the input you mean this right?

Sorry im new to modding stuff. So I cut the red and white inputs and solder them onto the 1st and 3rd cord on the opposite side of the blue?

you need this aux jack. the wires are run to the wires in the radio.

The switch is radio shack part #274-246 for $2.99
