My friend has an 06 supercharged GT and the passenger heated seat back light and the adjuster buttons for the passenger side climate control have burnt out. I was wondering if there was a way to get in there and solder in new bulbs? I did this before in my Bonneville so I'm wondering if it's the same in the Prix.

    Thanks guyz

Well there is only one way to find out.
Its super mega easy to pull the climate controls. Just remove the bezel an then 2 screws.

Yes you can, the hardest part is opening up the climate control assembly, simply because the miniature hex bolts are a *****. In spite of having tons of tools, I didn't have a hex socket that small, I don't even know what the measurement is. I struggled using some needle-nose pliers.

Someone suggested on another thread to replace all the bulbs with LED's, as the "stock" ones commonly burn out for no apparent reason. I may do that myself, I have one burnt out, so I'm the only one that notices it. But I've got horrible OCD with things like that D:

Thanks guys. I was wondering, if there's any size of LED or bulb I should be looking for? You think they'd be the same as my Bonneville's? I know you said it was easy to get into the CC, but are there any instructions or pictures? I don't wanna mess anything up.

They are little tiny leds, I took mine apart as two bulbs were out, I believe it's eithe 1/4 or 3/16 size hex heads, but there is no just replacing them, you have to solder them back on. Needless to say I left them out for now lol
