I have a catless 3 inch down pipe to 3in ZZP exhaust to a Magna flow resonator then to Magna flow mufflers... its waaay to loud on the highway between 50-75... if I buy zzp headers with a cat will it quiet down a bit or am I screwed

Headers don't make exhaust quiet if anything it could be louder. I would swap the mufflers out with something different or maybe run a bigger resonator.

A cat might help a smidge, the headers wont.

Basically you need something else to muffle the noise, either a longer resonator or different mufflers.

Chambered mufflers drone, its just what they do on a 3800.

Its killing me... it vibrates my door panels and back deck lid... if I put another Magna flow resonator in will it help? I love how it sounds at idle and I'm sure in a few weeks when I put in my xp cam it will sound really nice but its not worth it on the highway

Magnaflows would sound better or Borlas.

Sorry misread your question. Hmm I would try to get a longer resonator or add another. Not sure how much your willing to hack up your exhaust though.

As long as its not killing my ears I don't care... I weld them in anyways.

are you sure you dont just have an exhaust leak somewhere? But yeah try a new and longer resonator. Perhaps your current one has gone out on you (dunno how old it is).

Borla's sound the "best" on these cars.

3800's sound look poop in general, but the Borla sounds just decent.

Go with a set of those and snag up a larger resonator.

There's definitely no leak... I work on cars and I welded all the seams. As far as the resonator its only about three months old. I like the borla but.is.it going to drone on the highway like my magnaflow?
