I have the 3 pin automatic mirror on my 1999 GTP. The auto dimming feature does not work. I tested it and it is only getting .11 volts to the mirror. Where should I look to fix this? Thanks.

chances are the fluid has leaked out of the mirror already, and thats why its not working.

does it have a ring in it? or any stains?

The mirror actually looks like new. It never seemed to work since I got the car in August and when I checked the voltage to it from the wiring, I only got like .11 volts. I think it is suppose to get 12 volts.

that might come down to the wires being an issue assuming your car is around 2000 the wires behind the mirror end up having like a bent paper clip effect. When you bend a paper clip back and forth enough times it will break and like the wires from when you adjust the mirror same thing happens. It could simple just be a loose connection not generating enough power wiggle the wires around and see if the voltage jumps at all.

If I didn't have voltage to a mirror, I'd start off checking a fuse. From there trace down the wiring.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
