I warped one of mine so I just figured, what the hell, let's just go ahead and replace all of them. Any cheap recommendations of new lug nuts? Also are the front ones supposed to be larger than the back (I noticed they are on mine)?

A cheap tool to get off a warped lug nut would be good too. I suppose I could try to hammer on a slightly smaller socket (i heard this works). Any better solutions?

I might just order one if someone knows where I can find one for a reasonable price. But if I'm going to pay $10 for one or like $40 for a whole set, I figure might as while just get a whole set.

I feel like they would be really overpriced from autozone though.

How to you "warp" a lug nut??? Do you mean cross threaded it onto the lug, or rounded the shoulders off using the improper size socket?

Either way, just hammer a good 6 point socket onto it and back it off. No fuss, no muss, no special tools required. An impact socket may work best for this if it will fit inside the lug opening.

ya that's what i was going to try, need to wait to get a new lug nut though.

And I warped the outside of it by over-tightening with a 12 point socket. It was my first time taking off my wheels, so it was a bit of a learning experience. I'm still new to doing my own car work. I know better than to use a 12 point socket on lug nuts now though hah.

Didn't realize they were so cheap there. Sorry, I thought I'd be paying something outrageous. My experience with autozone = double the price you can usually find online.

Perfect Thanks. I wonder if I could find any like this locally. Probably will pay a little more, but tomm is going to be 68 and I don't have a garage lol. Not gonna be too many more great days to be outside working on my car haha (though changing the lug nuts shouldn't take long anyways).

EDIT: Free shipping + 17.50 and those awesome looking lug nuts was too good to pass up. Said they'll be here the 13th or 14th. Hell of a deal thanks for the heads up.

    what? I never said that.

Albeit, I have spent a lot lately, so I'm trying to keep my spending as low as possible.
