Pretty much which one is it going into the pump itself on th passenger side. If I know that much ill just follow it down to the rack.

I gathered its a 13mm wrench is all ill really need unless I drop the subframe and that's A 18mm. Go I've asked to many questions about this thing I may just take pics for tards like myself next time around.

If you have the pass. tire off you can see the bottom of the pump and should see which one is screwed into the pump, then just follow it back.

Yup it screws into the pump and into the rack. The hose will loop near the firewall, I found it a pain getting it in there and lining up.

Yea I just compared the pressure and return line on advance auto and there wayyy different so it will be easy to tell them apart. Looks like a hour job maybe 2.

Yup gm redesigned the pressure hose so it will probably be different from the one you take out too.

I'm gonna waste my $$ on some Lucas stop leak first since for some reason I haven't tried that just been adding fluid forever. I've heard mixed reviews. I don't think it will work for this but if it will get me to spring I'd be happy.

I had good luck w/ the Lucas stuff when my rack was leaking. Drove it for almost another 2 years before the rack finally let go. It did also stop a slow leak at the pump. Worth a shot anyways. What sucks is getting the Lucas in the resevoir when it's cold out. Maybe set the bottle on the heat register in the house and warm it up first to help it pour quicker.

I used half the bottle last night no help so new line. Must be bigger than a seal issue

You have to give it time to work if its a seal issue. I probably went through 3 bottles before my leak cleared up. Those old hard seals take time to get softened back up. But, if it is indeed a line leaking then you are correct that it will just have to be replaced. Better get on it now before it's -10 outside and snowing, lol... Nothing like laying under a car in the middle of winter.

Lol so bought the line and of course it wasn't it after a mucho closer look its coming from higher on up which meanssssss the pump. I actually shoulda fixed this a year ago health BS keeps my motivation low so I hit it on my good days. I drive 400 miles a month so I just randomly add fluids it's just now the pump is really starting to whine like a little girl and my brain just reminded me the rack likes fluids too soooo pump here I come before the rack starts to cry too. I did tho fix my tie rod end because I was determined to do something today besides look at half breed dogs with the logical wife.....

I hate the steering system in these cars, I'm on my 3rd pump and now my 3rd rack. I broke my girls steering rack by taking a turn too hard at 5mph, luckily she was under warranty.

Mixes breed dogs have less health issues than purebred dogs, just saying.

Also because that stuff is so thick the pump will whine, like in the winter when the fluid is really cold and thick, until it thins out some.
