Hello everyone I just signed up today and am hoping someone can help me with some advice. On the way home from work today I went to put down my windows and the front passenger with wouldn't go down. Once I got home I tried the switch on the passenger down with the same result. Has this happened to any before? Anyone think the motor is bad or have anyone had bad motors? I would like to take care of this myself, if I don't have to take it to the shop.

Try testing the connections to make sure the switch is supplying power to the motor. It is also common for the cable in the regulator to get bound up and not allow the window to move.

Not sure if it would be the same, but worth checking out. When my driverside door switch went out for the pass window, neither would put it down. Once I replaced it, problem was fixed. Seems that the one on the drivers door is like a master switch. I had it unplugged once and couldn't use any of the other switches to put the windows down.

Thanks for the advise. I ordered a new master window switch from gmpartsdirect.com b/c my local dealership wanted $114 for the part. I'll let yous know if it solves the problem.
