I just purchased this car for 2200, 02 gtp 40th anniversary with 161,000. I have a 98 regal gs and am a member on regalgs.org. Anways I got some questions. This car has a remote starter and i hate aftermarket remote starters. What I have noticed....At times I will start the car it will crank, start and die immediately. I will try again and give it gas it will run and idle and drive normally. Also upon the second try on starting the clock resets to 1:00. Then there are times when it acts like a car and acts normal. And sometimes when im driving and stop the abs light low trac and tcs off light will come on and the tcs off light will flash. Now to go back to when the car dies right after starting the doors will lock and unlock. it makes the noise as if it does, I don't actually look to see if it is physically doing it.
The remote start feature i've tried it and sometimes the car will cut off and restart on its own, run for a minute cut off and restart. it will keep doing this until i press the brake to stop the remote starter. Then there are times when the remote starter will crank but not start the car (unless i'm in the car and give it gas like mentioned above).
ITs my first post so if anyone has any feedback or knowledge on the subject it would be much appreciated. I just need this car to make it to tax time when I plan to get a Grand Prix GXP.
