Started getting a slight chatter only under high load and figured my lifters were about ready for a replacement
Replacing Lifters
I'm having a hard time working out the lifter ratios vs cam lift
for most cams 1.60 lift is needed ?
I know alot of the guys running e85 on stock cams tend to upgrade the valvetrain
are high lift 1.9 roller rockers an alternative to going with a cam build ?
what would be ideal if I was planning on swapping to e85 but wanted to leave the option of a cam open?
if I'm going to be replacing the lifters with stockers should I get higher weight springs to avoid float?
the way I'm understanding it the increase of lift available is shared between the cams and valve train so going one or the other is just more cost effective
as opposed to upgrading both for the same gains you could have gotten out of one for around the same price
most to all cams require some tuning is it required when upgrading to roller rockers as well or would it just lie in wait for a tune?
