    Hello,
Ive been having a noise upon cold startup that goes away after a few minutes. I have no idea what it is so I am hoping someone here can tell me. I have no loss in power, however I am babying it until I can figure out what this problem is. At the end of the video I increase the rpm a little just so you can hear it, but like I said the noise goes away once it warms up.

    Sounds exhaust leak to me.

Then when the pipes heat up and expand the noise goes away.

That does make sense, because it does sound like that. But I put my head under the hood to try to find where the noise was coming from and its coming from the area where I was trying to focus on in the video. The right side of the valve cover

check all your header bolts, see if tight or if one is missing. when cold you have a about 20 seconds to feel for the leak bare handed, they its gonna get too hot.

ive had manifold bolts come out and leak when cold, then seal up as the manifold got hot, it did leave black soot on the head where the leak was.

if you can find a leak it could be lifter thats loosing pressure over night. in my car if i go over 3500 miles on a oil change it will clap 3 or 4 times and then stop when sitting over night. change the oil and it stops.
