Hey everyone, I have the opportunity to buy a GTP 98 and I have a 99 GT, I want to change over the supercharger to my car as mine is completely loaded and the GTP isn't. Besides the transmission, what else would need to be transplanted? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Really it depends on what you are aiming to do.

You can easily transplant the motor and trans, or just the motor, maybe some trans parts.. what gear ratio would you like? Nearly anything is possible.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I just want to make the most out of buying this donor car, would like to part it out as much as possible too. I'm just not sure what I would need to transfer over to make it run properly. Any suggestions on what exactly I should look under to research? I really appreciate your help Billboost37, as always I can depend on you!

Also, my tranny on my gt is already on its way out, so i needa new one, another reason why i want to use the gtp transmission.

Do I need to move over the dic from the gtp to my car so I can see the boost?

I don't think it will work to do that and get boost to work, plus putting a gtp one in a gt will make your trac off light be on all the time when it really isn't off, but I guess if you search for the write up about adding digital dic everything else would work with the dic

Just put an actual boost gauge in it.

Anyone who goes by the DIC = lol.

And yeah, look into the thread in my signature. It has links to all the threads you need. Plus tons of modding info.

    Step to it, skippy.
