Problem 1: I have a 99' Grand Prix GT. Last night my wife and I returned home and when I turned off the car there where no interior lights, could not lock the car in any wayand her radio lost all programing. This morning I went to run my son to school and the car was dead. I jump started the car and noticed no day time running lights. Took it for a test run and when I got back home I as soon as I shut the heater off the car stalled. Tryed to restart and completly dead (no dash lights or anything). So I cleaned the battery connections and that seemed to help but now the info display in the dash (Avg econ, fuel used, oil life and remaining distance on tank) is acting funny. Oil life, Avg econ and fuel used is working but the miles left on the tank is counting up from zero. I filled the gas tank and reset everything, did not help. Miles remaining should read approx 345 miles and count down to empty but now it counts up when I drive and when I stop and idel it starts to count down. Also, does anyone have issues with the rear tail light assem seperating. We are on our 3nd set and they are all failing the same way. The plastic seperates and lets water in.
Problem 2: When I turn into the driveway or parking lot and hit the transition from one to the other I am hearing a klunk from the front end (both side depending on which way I turn). Also happens when I am driving straight and hit a bump.
Problem 3: When we turn the heat or AC on we can select where the air comes from but there is very little change when we do. The air is comming from all the vents, defrost and floor. Where we selected might be slightly stronger but still comming from every vent
It may not sound like from this post but I really do take very good care of my wife's car.
