Lower intake manifold gaskets. If you haven't done them, do them. We consider it to be preventative maintenance.

This thread is helpful as well. It's where the video comes from, but the link I am giving you is to post 13. Step by step.

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/video...tml#post109386

If it's your first engine job, write the steps down, go outside, go in order. Since you're n/a your steps will be slightly different, and of course you aren't doing lifters as they did in the video, so don't pay that no attention.

No prob. And if you get stuck in the middle of it, we're always here there's usually always someone online who has done it before and give you some direction with it.

Maintenance wise. I would check the LIM gaskets. If plastic, replace them. Automatically plug the coolant ports to the upper manifold. Reason for that is with a few minutes of work you can keep the most common killer of the NA motor from happening to you.

    Here's what happens.
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/97-03...ure-60667.html

And here's how to plug the LIM to keep the issue from being possible. No coolant in the UIM means it can't fail.

I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
