well, my brother got a 95 grand prix 6cly he am racing in the local speedway, its for like the kids and the fans, hallowen themed.. its figure 8s. so EVERYTHING in the car is gutted.. except driver seat.. the doors are welded shut and everything.
however.. everything was working fine until the other night the truck latch that no longer worked was spazzing out engaging and disengaging one night while noone was around or playing with it.. so we unplugged it and it stopped.. and the next day we go to turn the car over and the battery is dead... so we jump start it.. starts right up. then dies...
then ever since then it just turns over and its getting spark and the fuel pump is turning on but it is not getting fuel... we know this because we sprayed starter fluid and it would stay running as long as we kept spraying..we believe its the fuel injectors not turning on
someone said that the car has a anti theft unit..(the radiio doesnt work it says like loc on it and the security light flashes).. but the previous owner said everytime the car dies he just jumped it and it started no problem.. and the radio never worked for him..
what could be the problem?????
I am all out of ideas..i tried a thing i saw a video on by using resistors to bypass the system but i dont think i did it right because nothing changed..
can anyone help? or have any ideas?.. is it a easy fix?
also.. the wireless lock and trunk opener DOES NOT WORK.
the main reason i am asking if its easy fix is because the race is this less than 2 days away.. and ofcourse this problem started last night
