I’m new to all of this, I have always had Grand Prixs and want to make this one fast. I have a 2006 with a 3800 supercharged. I want to know where to start and where I can take it, within reason ($). Any ideas are appreciated and I hope to learn a lot from this forum.

Welcome to the forums! feel free to ask any questions you want/need!!!!

the 3800 is a very potent motor! but it is all up to how far YOU want to take it.

Moved this to the tech lounge because it is not an introduction, where it was posted.

you can start off with an intake. make your own its cheap.

finished product is on page 2. i recemend reading threw the whole thing tho. also that was on a series II and you have a series III. you will need to add the MAF in there somewhere.

there is problew a few others in the how to write up section. check there for a lot of handy advice.

next i would work on exhaust. a downpipe, powerlog (front manifold) or just go with headers.

    ZZ Performance

dont think about swaping out pullies for a while, you need alot of suporting mods to go along with pullie drops, plus you need to scan your car for KR. might wanna read up on that also (KR)

also you could get a reprogramed pcm. i dont recemend any of them except overkill. :: Overkill Motorsports :: or you could just buy your own tunner and tune it yourself.

these are all motor performance upgrades tho. you could do other things. brakes, wheels, body upgrades Exterior Accessories - 2004-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix 04 Accessories Store - PFYC its all up to you

How much do you want to spend is the first question, and how fast do you want it to go would be the second. After that it's pretty easy to put a performance package together.
debadged, clear corners, 20% tint, tinted tails, vibrant performance tips, red painted calipers, Fig. grills, autometer guages, PFYC 3 pod A pillar, SLP CAI, 2.5" DP, SD Hood, SD front air damn, Gen I spoiler, 17X8 Borbet Type M rims, engine upgrades soon!
