Just brought my 94 Grand Prix home. After 220,000+ miles the fuel pump is done.
Is there any access to the pump from the inside under the seat?
I wanted to ask first so I didn't remove the seat for nothing.
    Thanks for any info, Tim

pretty sure you need to drop the gas tank to get to the fuel pump in the early years., before 96 or 97 i think.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

On mine we dropped the tank. Not sure if there is an access point. I know in the 6th gen there's one in the trunk but not sure about 5th.... never really looked

pull back the trunk carpet and have a look, no need to pull the seats.

The 5th Gen GPs do not have an access panel in the trunk for the fuel pump. You will need to drop the tank to get to it unfortunately.

its not to bad, i just hope you dont have a full tank of gas in it. if so syphon it out first.

a piece of wood and a floor jack has always worked well to hold it up so you can reach the lines and plug for me in he past.

Yeah, you will need to drop the tank. I had to do this on my car. I have seen guys cut holes in there trunk pan. lol Not suggesting that, but I have seen it done. If your tank looks like needs to be replaced now would be a good time to do so. Since they are still available new.
