    Fender Well Intake = FWI
PEM = Ported Exhaust Manifolds, also known as Poor Man's Headers
EGR Delete means you got rid of your EGR (by blocking off with a plate usually) that pumps unburned fuel and and exhaust fumes back into your intake giving you cleaner air in your intake.

When you have an EGR it pumps exhaust into your intake thus you don't have pure 100% un burned air supply. When you delete it it shoves all the exhaust out the pipe where it belongs giving you cleaner air in your intake and helps you make more HP. On the downside when you delete it you tend to get worse gas mileage or so i've heard.

Most delete the EGR system when installing headers. ZZPerformance sells small plates with block off the holes in the Intake Manifold and on the Rear Header.

I believe I have some pictures around from after my header install that I can post up soon

Its harder to get the EGR off then it is to install the delete. The EGR delete is a block off plate that you bolt to the intake, then you will need to add the electronics. I think the electronics come as plug and play but I could be wrong. When I had mine, I spliced the wires. You can also get by without the electronics part if you have a tuner that will allow you to remove the codes for the EGR

Made my own EGR block off plates from some scrap 1/4" thick aluminum.

Many make their own with a penny and the left over clamps/mounting ends of the OEM EGR unit.

You don't really notice that much of a gas mileage drop. Your intake stays cleaner, and cooler is the main gain. But if you have state inspections...this is a no-no-go mod to do.

    I Believe Your Correct Sir.

Did you ever mass produce these Jason? Anything that gets rid of weight and keeps the engine intake temp cooler is a great thing.
