ok, so i normally drive in the cities. with my 3.4 setup i recently did, i got better mpg in the cities (twin cities mn) like 21-22 and now that im at school, in duluth, my mpg is like 11-12....

wth is causing that? it boggles my mind if you ask me. i thought MAYBE i would get better than before

Last year without the mods, i was getting 11. and now i am getting the same.

but with the mods in the twin cities last year i got 18, and now 21-22. wtf?

Something is wrong with your car if you are only getting 11 MPG. Unless you drive like a crazy person, you should be at least 16-17 in town. What did you change on the car when your MPG's dropped?

Alot more hills in duluth than in the cities.

it does this all the time. i got to school in duluth. and last year without mods i was gettign 11 mpg. this summer in the cities (before mods) i got about 18. Now with the mods, i get 21-22 in teh cities and still 11-12 in duluth. Yeah i know there are more hills....would going 30 mph uphill having to sit at 2400 rpms cause that? I mean, i stay in a lower gear (2) so i dont have it always shift. that gets annoying and is harder on the tranny.

    jsut confused.

    Let it shift.

However any boost or traffic kills fuel economy.
